Pengalaman Exchange Programme di Gachon University, South Korea 2017

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.

Harini rasa macam nak share pengalaman 3 tahun lepas, menyertai program pertukaran pelajar ke Gachon University, Korea.

Memang sebelum masuk UM lagi, I dah aim untuk pergi join exchange programme kalau dah masuk university nanti. Alhamdulillah Allah permudahkan segala urusan lepas masuk UM. Masa I tahun dua semester 2, permohonan I untuk ke luar negara selama satu semester diterima. I felt like really happy because I was having minor depression during that time. I terkejut dengan everything in UM. I tak boleh nak sesuaikan diri lagi dengan peralihan dari Matrikulasi ke universiti sehingga keputusan peperiksaan jatuh merudum. I believe I need to take a rest, go see the world and calm myself. I believe that this is the best getaway that I will get and guess what?! I never regret my decision to join exchange programme in Korea.

So, harini I just nak share secara summary apa yang I buat sepanjang 4 bulan kat sana. InshaAllah kalau rajin nanti I will post each of the story in detail in the next post (kalau rajin hehe).

Masa first take down kat airport tu hujung bulan lapan. Memang panas time tu sebab summer. I rasa macam lagi panas dari Malaysia 😩 Kitorang ke sana lapan orang. 2 dari Fakulti Sains, 2 dari Akademi Pengajian Islam dan 4 dari Fakulti Perniagaaan. I am from Science Faculty with my bestfriend, Balqis. The only person that I know in Korea is Balqis. I bersyukur sebenarnya pergi dengan kawan-kawan baru sebab I kalau boleh nak getaway from University life kejap haha.

Seminggu pertama dekat sana was good (except the weather). Kami ditempatkan di dormitary. 1 bilik 4 orang. Ada bilik air lagi dalam bilik tu. I am amazes how they managed to put bathrooms in that small room! But still selesa! Kalau rajin nanti I cerita pasal bilik ni in next post. 

I only take 2 classes there, Korean Language and English. I memang dah plan tak nak ambil sebarang Maths subjek. Cukuplah kat UM je belajar maths. I dah decide to cut down anything related to maths for a while.

If you guys a fan of anything kpop related, you guys must know that university festivals is one of the most awaited events in Korea. It usually happens in Autumn where a lot of artist will attend the festival in universities across Korea. Cuba teka siapa yang datang ke Gachon University tahun tu?!! It's freaking hiphop artist! I guess that is the theme that they choose that year. Antara artist yang datang malam tu are Crush, Changmo, BeWhy, Dynamic Duo, Bolbanggan4 dan ramai lagi. And the festival is free for everyone. Being a kpop fan, can you guess how happy am I to see their performance with my two eyes? 😭 That's a one life time experience that i never want to forget for whole my life. Tambah pulak masa tu tengah demam cerita Goblin yang Gong Yoo berlakon tu. Lepastu Crush nyanyi lagu Beautiful pulak makin happy lah kitorang semua ahhahaha. Korang boleh subscribe my channel in youtube kalau nak tengok some of the videos that I manage to record on that night.

Next, we move on to the next concert. Ahahahaha. I rasa I sangat lucky sebab dapat pergi concert free dekat Korea. Masa ni dah bulan 11.Almost winter. Ini semua sebab Ain, rajin sangat cari event yang happening dekat Korea (thanks ain❤️) Dia jumpa satu concert ni yang free dekat Pyongchang. DREAM CONCERT in conjunction with Winter Olympic if I am not mistaken. Jadi gigihla kami ke Pyeongchang naik bas dengan cuaca yang sejuk membeku haha. Antara artist yang ada EXO CBX, Nuest, Ailee, Wannaone, Astro, Sunmi dan ramai lagi. MC dia pulak Leeteuk. Berbekalkan bahasa korea yang kami dah belajar selama 3 bulan, dapat lah jugak faham sikit- sikit apa yang leeteuk cakap.

Move on to Gachon balik. Diorang ada buat International students fair where students of each country that study full time there to open booth, to promote their local food. Since we are the only Malaysian there, and we are not full time student. We didn't open any booth. But we enjoyed tasting the local food from many countries. FOR FREE! Who can reject free food? Not me for sure. Singgah dekat booth Indonesia paling best lah dapat makan Infomie free! Lama tak makan maggie Malaysia time tu dapat Indomie oun jadilah.

Tempat menarik yang I pernah pergi I buat next post eh. Sebab banyak sangat nak list haha. Cara nak apply to join Exchange Programme pun InshaAllah next next post eh. Thanks for reading!

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone, As promised, so today i am going to share my experience went to MARA Assessment Centre for interview. I apply to become Mathematics teacher and the interview was held on 26th February. More than 100 people came for the interview. It is a one day interview (just like a boot camp) where all the candidate has to go through all 4 assessment on the same day. Assessment 1 - Psychometric Test The candidate was put into a group of two. some go for the fitness test first and the othe half will do the psychometric test first. I was put in the second group. So, we will have to do a Psychometric Test first. Unlike previous year where the test hold on different day and online, this year the Psychometric Test is held on the same day and be done manually. We are given a paper to manually answer all the question given. There are about 160 question to be answer in 40 minutes. Student Exchange Programme (SEP) in UM - How to Apply?

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone. Since I dapat banyak Q tentang how to join SEP in UM, so today I am going to share about the application procedure on how to join the mobility programme. Please note that this is only applicable for UM Undergraduate Full Time Student only.  For postgraduate and part time student, I am not sure if there is any SEP that you can join but you can always go and ask. I would suggest all of you who interested to go to International Student Centre located at Kompleks PerdanaSiswa near the cafe. The ISC Office located at first floor on the building near the cafeteria. Macam yang I pernah cakap sebelum ni, sebelum masuk UM lagi I dah bercita-cita nak join SEP sebab I bukan dari keluarga berkemampuan. Kalau nak pergi sendiri melancong ke luar negara memang I tak mampu. Thus, I option for this programme.
